2/10/10 ...... We have just learnt that
two of our operatives have jointly won the Merseyside Retail
Crimestopper of The Year Award 2010. The awards will be presented at
the annual Crimestoppers Dinner in Liverpool on 21st October 2010.
Our security operatives Will Freeman Dunn and Ian Pugh could not be
separated by the judges and so jointly won the coveted prize.
Will defended a retail jewellery showroom against a team of violent,
determined armed robbers. In the course of his duty, he tackled a
man armed with an axe.
A few weeks later, Ian was on duty at another showroom when a gang
struck there too. Ian protected the entrance to the premises while
the door was pounded 16 times with sledgehammers and axes. Ian came
very close to being seriously injured and his bravery ensured the
gang were disappointed.
Probe Investigations (UK) Limited is very proud of the performance
of our staff and delighted that their bravery has been recognised in
this way.

On Saturday 17th July XXXXXXXXXX in XXXXX Cheshire had 30 Rolex watches taken from the window by a 5 member gang, all described as white males wearing dark hoodies and balaclavas. They appeared to use a bolt gun to get through the glass and left in a stolen silver Ford Mondeo that was found on fire about half a mile away. The offenders were then seen leaving in a dark 4×4, possibly a Range Rover. All the stolen watches are now on the Rolex Lost & Stolen register. No one was hurt in the incident and the shop was trading again a couple of hours after the raid.
Contact the head of our Security operation Paul Campbell on 0845 520 7777 for further information.
